Heester graduated in the field of landscape architecture, followed by his master degree at the Academy of Architecture -part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
Artworks by Heester have been exhibited in musea, art platforms and public spaces in the Netherlands. He won a prize in an international architecture competition. His visions have been published in national and international architectural magazines.

Heester his works and development can be categorized as follows:
Works are materialised in competitions, models, concepts, publications and realized arch./urban plans while working for the central planning department of the municipality of Amsterdam until 2017 (dRO.)
Mostly conceptual works in a figurative and expressionists style.
-Land art.
Spatially constructed, mostly in an abstract and minimalists style. Photographically documented.
